Willow CreekVery Low / Excellent VisibilitySunny / 70°CLOSEDAs of July 1 the water conditions and weather are Excellent. The water is so low that Kings are not able to hold in the traditional locations making fishing for the fish that are around very difficult. Several large schools of Kings have been holding in the third mouth, but with the scheduled closure by ADF&G there will not be any more opportunities to fish this stream for the remainder of the season.
Little Willow CreekLow Levels / Excellent VisibilitySunny / 70°CLOSEDAs of July 1 the water conditions and weather are Excellent, but fishing to date has been slow due to the low water conditions and small return of Kings. Most fish caught here have been under 20 pounds.
Kashwitna RiverExcellent. Best Conditions of season!Sunny / 70°CLOSEDAs of July 1 the King fishing is closed for the season. Sheep CreekNormal Level / Excellent VisibilitySunny / 70°CLOSEDAs of July 1 the water conditions and weather are Excellent. THe ADF&G assessment of fishing at Sheep Creek is not consistent with our own assessment of this fishing stream in 2009. It has been an excellent location all summer to catch a King Salmon and on Saturday June 27 over 30 Kings were seen landed in the first three hours of fishing at the mouth. Boats were limiting out along holes inside the river just below the highway bridge and large schools of fish had moved into the stream and were holding in the deeper holes. As the water levels continued to drop Kings were observed backing out of Sheep Creek and milling around in the deeper water near the confluence with the Susitna River.
Goose CreekVery Low Levels / Excellent VisibilitySunny / 70°CLOSEDAs of July 1 the water conditions and weather are Excellent.
Montana CreekVery Low / Excellent VisibilitySunny / 70°CLOSEDAs of July 1 the water conditions and weather are Excellent.
